At the door
Mind these on the way in
- Photo ID is checked for everyone, member or guest, no exceptions made.
- No seat is ever booked on a screen — every evening starts with a knock at the door.
- Guests are welcome alongside a member, seating allowing on the night.
- Coats go on the rack by the door, not slung over a spare chair.
At the table
Settle these questions first
What if I make a mistake mid-hand?
Say so straight away — the dealer will sort it out without any fuss.
Can I swap tables partway through the night?
Once a hand finishes, yes; never leave mid-trick.
Is coaching allowed for a new player?
A quiet word between hands is fine; running commentary during one isn't.
What happens if two players disagree on a call?
The dealer's ruling stands — raise it calmly, between hands.
